Exitosa «Feria de la Salud» organiza Hospital de Talagante
Conscientes de la importancia que tiene la prevención en materia de salud y enfocados en entregar una orientación médica de calidad y cercana, el Hospital y la Municipalidad de Talagante organizaron en conjunto la primera Feria de la Salud.
El encuentro que se realizó este viernes, en la Plaza de Armas de la comuna, contó con la participación del Centro Metropolitano de Sangre, organismo que trabaja en una fuerte campaña de concientización, dada la escasez de donantes de sangre en la provincia, situación que ha generado una alerta ante una eventual necesidad por una emergencia mayor.
Además, alineados con la campaña de prevención impulsada por el Minsal, ante las cifras de contagios de VIH, el evento contó también con la presencia del camión de test rápidos de VIH del Servicio de Salud Occidente, que realizó más de 100 exámenes a los asistentes.
La organización de este evento responde a la nueva política de Hospital Talagante que busca acercar la salud y la prevención a la comunidad en terreno, generando así una cercanía con la población y los usuarios del recinto de salud.
En este sentido, el Dr. Carlos Almazán, director del Hospital de Talagante, se declaró contento con el evento y la participación de las distintas entidades del recinto de salud y la comuna. “Esta iniciativa contribuye a que la comunidad conozca el funcionamiento de la red de Salud que nos permite entregar un mejor servicio y también elaborar diferentes planes preventivos para la comunidad”, aseguró el doctor Almazán.
El recinto hospitalario presentó en terreno diversos stands, donde sus profesionales atendieron diferentes consultas de los asistentes, en áreas como: Nutrición, PRAIS, Servicio de Matronas, OIRS, el Servicio Cardioamistoso y el Servicio de Rehabilitación.
Finalmente, cabe destacar el rol de la Ilustre Municipalidad de Talagante, quien con su plan de difusión de la actividad participó activamente en la organización del encuentro como actor relevante en materia de salud comunal, gracias al rol que cumplen los Cesfam.
