Nuevas ambulancias se suman a la flota de vehículos del hospital

Tras  la adjudicación de un Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Regional entregado por el Consejo Regional Metropolitano de Santiago, el Hospital Provincial de Talagante recibió tres nuevas ambulancias para mejorar la calidad de los traslados de sus usuarios.

La inversión para adquirir estos vehículos alcanzó los 154 millones de pesos aproximadamente, con los cuales se beneficiará de manera directa a los habitantes de la Provincia de Talagante y sus alrededores.

La ceremonia de entrega estuvo encabezada por el Gobernador de la Región Metropolitana, Claudio Orrego, quien sostuvo que “estas tres ambulancias, la verdad, es que no tienen nada que envidiarle a una ambulancia de la Clínica Las Condes, o sea son de primera calidad, para atender a toda la provincia, que es una provincia que ha ido creciendo, y que muchas veces además tiene que llevar pacientes a Santiago, entonces, al final, tener buenos vehículos no solamente es importante desde el punto de vista de la dignidad de tanto funcionarios como pacientes, sino que también para la eficiencia”.

Palabras con las que coincidió el Director del Servicio de Salud Metropolitano Occidente, Dr. Francisco Miranda, quien dijo que “esto permite, obviamente, recuperar en un 100% la capacidad operativa, porque los traslados de Talagante hacia Santiago a las tomas de muestra, a los exámenes de paciente de patologías complejas, requieren un traslado seguro”.
